Some more art!!

I've been doing alot more photography and writing lately. In Photo I, we're getting used to our pinhole cameras. I should post a tutorial on how to make them. They're really super fun!
I have one image. We have to expose it on photo paper, so it comes out all negative and wierd looking. And you have to sit there for a really long time (Like, a minute. Which isn't too long for me, but my classmates don't like sitting still. What with their ADHD and all) just to expose the image. Which makes for some really cool effects if someone walks through your view. You get ghosty images and it looks really. frickin. awesome.
So I took advantage of this and when I made my first exposure, I put my hand in the view for 30 seconds, and then took it out. :) Observe:

When we learn how to make positives, you betcher I'm going to make this look all cool.
As for other photos, I only have a few. Drawings lately have been kinda blah. I'm having art block. I'm collaborating with my lovely on a graphic novel he plans to write. I'm doing concept art for characters and environments, and once he has a couple scripts written up in the proper format and proofread, I'm going to help him look for an artist. Maybe I can persuade the two of them to make it a webcomic.
I'm also participating in NaNoWriMo next month. I have a plot that needs tweaking, and I've been practicing. Here's one of my practice paragraphs to try and get typing really fast:
The club bounced merrily as people inside let go of inhibition and let themselves fall easily into the lap of comfort. In the company of strangers, most people felt they could trust these unkowns more easily than their own family or lovers. Outisde at the edge of the cliff where the broken down warehouse that the club was within, one woman swung her legs across the side. Long since lost her shoes to the heights and the depths, her bare feet were free to the cold mist. This club was in such a remote place, it was difficult to understand how anyone had found it. Yet somehow she did. Somehow by following her feet she had come to this place on the edge of the sea and there she knew she would stay.
The men swayed slowly, under the influence of countless things. Some of the women as well were experiencing flashbacks and euphoric moments as well. But this woman, sitting by herself, was sober. Above the influence. Just letting her thoughts guide her through to Serenity. Club Serenity on the edge of the Eternal Ocean. A place where the ghosts came to watch the fish dance on the shore before being swept away in neon colored waves. This woman watched half-developed images of people moving through the slow frames of life as they pulled at each other and fell the floor somewhat awkwardly and made drunken love. By herself, she sat vicarious to their pleasure, equally content in her solitude.
She stood slowly, stepping carefully around the people and expertly navigating the currents of populace as if she were a trout going upstream. She never once touched one of the phantoms, and nobody so much as saw her go through. Her black cocktail dress left faint black lines in someone's vision as she stepped up the stairs, padding carefully on the balls of her bare feet. Even if the music wasn't blaring, she would remain inaudible.
What was it about this place that made her feel so complete. She felt pleasantly empty, without a care in the world. Nobody else cared either, not even looking up as she stepped into a room where yet more couples groped and caressed in the darkness. Nobody stopped her when she flung the windows out against the ocean breeze, seeing that they were surrounded on a precipice of rock in the middle of a toxic sea.
Here, the ghosts found refuge. The refuse of heaven and the unwanteds of hell came here to make do with the immortality that they now had. Free to sin but forced to stay.
18 minutes and 436 words. Prompt was to think of some place I would like to stay, but obviously I twisted that around. :P Writ to the tune of "Fresh" by Daft Punk.
And photos!

Tyler had I have been together for 7 months today, and he got his braces off today as well. :)
