Where do I begin?
I heard about two weeks ago that Stan Lee was coming to my local comic book store, Comic Oasis. My boyfriend and I were looking forward to it ever since then, and today I played hooky and dad took us both over there at about noon. Signing wouldn't start until 1, but already the line/mob wrapped around the complex.
So we waited for a super long time. On wednesday, dad picked up three copies of Spiderman #539. Only, they were variant covers, exclusive to our store. Only about 5000 made. (The original #539 is already on eBay for about 100$, dad says.) So Tyler has a copy, I have a copy, and so does dad.
They were horribly rushed towards the end, because Stan Lee had to go at about 2, having a red carpet premier at the Palms for the opening of Spiderman 3. So in the beginning, they were letting us take pictures, but "Be quick!" They kept telling us. Then when it got to us they really rushed us- people were milling around the store, there was a documentary team inside, and people pushing us to get out. So I got mine signed first.

Then when I tried to get a picture the idiot in front of me wouldn't move, so I have a poorly framed picture.
But it's authentic!
Then we saw Spiderman 3 in theatres, had fun, and. Yay. :) Spent the day with my two nerdy guys who are probobly sick of me by now.
Going to go do some fanart, if I can muster the umph.
